Event Info: 

On December 11th, LEAP will be holding a limited seating, Holiday Benefit Fundraiser for the LEAP Emerge: Classroom Edition Program. Complimentary dinner and a seat at the fundraiser will be provided for RSVP’d ticket holders.

In partnership with California State University - Los Angeles (CSULA), LEAP developed the 16-week leadership seminar course AAAS 2630: Asian American Experience, co-facilitated by Nancy Yap (Vice-President of Development, LEAP) and CSULA professors Jason Chiu and Dr. Juily Phun.

This course falls under the LEAP Emerge Program as the Classroom edition; the program emphasizes the development of leadership skills in a professional environment using hands on training and tools. LEAP Emerge: Classroom Edition aims to bridge the existing access gaps that is an unfortunate reality for so many high-potential student leaders. For many working students who do not have the privilege of taking resources out of work and university for a leadership training/unpaid internships, LEAP Emerge: Classroom Edition brings the training and skills to the classroom.
