This gala dinner celebrates the leadership and accomplishments of individuals and organizations that exemplify LEAP’s mission to achieve full participation and equality for Asian Pacific Americans through leadership, empowerment, and policy.  Proceeds from the event are used to develop LEAP’s innovative leadership programs, cutting-edge public policy research, and nationwide community building.

2008 LEAP Silent Auction

2008 marks LEAP’s 3rd Annual Silent Auction during our Leadership Awards Dinner on July 17, 2008.  We hope you will support LEAP by purchasing or contributing an item to this year's Silent Auction.  All dollars raised in the  auction will help LEAP continue its work to "grow leaders" and inspire more Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to aspire to leadership positions and serve as role models for all Americans.  (We reached our goal of raising $10,000 in 2006 and $20,000 in 2007!)  Thank you to all donors and contributors to our Silent Auctions.

Funding for our community programs such as the Leadership Development Program for Empowerment, the Leadership In Action Internship, and the scholarships for our community workshop come from the charitable giving of donors and the fees from our Leadership Development Programs and workshops.

A donation to LEAP today can provide a student group or community organization with a low-cost, high quality LEAP workshop. It can also provide a student with a memorable and hands-on internship experience and leadership training through our Leadership In Action internship program. Your contribution will also build and strengthen new and existing Asian Pacific American leaders and educate the broader society about Asian Pacific Americans.
